How A Native of Maryland Overcame Depression, Alcoholism And A $1.7 Million in Debt To Conquer The World

He is the founder and current CEO of VSS Mind and Lurn, Inc. – two of the most successful digital publishing companies that generate over $20 Million per year in sales.

Let this not fool you, though. For Anik Singal, a native of Maryland, whose parents immigrated from India, life wasn’t exactly rosy.

In fact, Anik was born into an affluent Indian family where most of its members are doctors and lawyers. Hence, Anik’s life path was pre-determined from childhood. He dedicated most his childhood to following his family tradition.

However, the more he studied, the more he became disillusioned with life, especially where his life was headed. In fact, his heart was always violently screaming against following his pre-destined path.

As usual, this did not augur very well with his parents, especially when he announced that he was going to study Finance instead of following the family tradition to study Medicine or Law. Neither did they quite agree with him when they realized he was following his life’s passion to pursue an obscure career in online marketing.

Like most parents do, his parents didn’t see the point for him pursuing a risky pipedream of financial freedom instead of chasing the security of a 9 to 5 job.

But Anik was determined. He used his parents’ basement to try online business. After 18 months of tying, he had made nothing online. Not even a dime. He decided he was going to give up to ordinary life, but just before that, he decided to post a comment on an online forum saying that he had had enough and he was ready to quit.

Then something happened that changed Anik's life. A mysterious stranger posted a reply on the same forum advising Anik not to give up yet, but to try out a system he was going to show him. It was a step by step system which the stranger advised Anik to follow religiously. That night he couldn't steep. The following morning he woke up early and rushed to the basement to check his account balance. He was shocked at what he found. The account showed a balance of $330. He just couldn't believe it.

That development changed Anik's life and business, and the lives of thousands others. That development was proof that he had now discovered a system for earning a living online instead of relying on full time employment.

He went on to generate over $10 million per year in sales. However, around this time he started relaxing and focusing other things that diverted his attention from his proven system. He doesn't say exactly how he landed into a $1.7 million in debt, but this is exactly what happened. Yes, he lost his business.

His business nearly going bankrupt, he started borrowing money from everybody; banks, family and friends, colleagues, and everybody he knew, but he could not recover his business. He became alcoholic and fell into a severe depression. At one time he collapsed and was hospitalized for several days in the ICU.

From all this, he was able to recover, bounce back and build a multi-million dollar business worth over $200 million.

Following his roller coaster ride of life, Anik vowed never to return back to depression and debt. Realizing that there was a gap in market for online business knowledge, he set out to create his own products that would change the lives of thousands of struggling online entrepreneurs.
